1851 DOC HOLLIDAY August 14, 1851, Griffin, Georgia - John Henry Holliday is born. He was born in Griffin, Georgia, but raised in Valdosta, where he spent his early years before becoming a dentist. 1887 1872 1872 DOC HOLLIDAY 1872, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Holliday graduates from the Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery. After obtaining his degree, he moved to Atlanta to practice dentistry. 1851 1873 1873 DOC HOLLIDAY 1873, Atlanta, Georgia - Shortly after starting his dental practice, Holliday was diagnosed with tuberculosis, the disease that had killed his mother. Corral.
